Chairs and tables for banqueting.CheltenhanThe difacto standard for banqueting chair in the marquee hire game has been the Cheltenham which is an atractive woodern chair oftern sprayed gold, silver and white. They stack well (up to 10 high) They were orianaly produced in Europe however most of the cheeper chairs are made in china. The tipical cost of a cheep improted chair would be between £20 and £30 pounds or a quality chair up to £60. Camalot or Chivari ChairsChairs are simmilar however thay have a knobly spindle backs. Expect to pay around £5 per chair more than the Cheltenham. Meatle framed Banqueting chairsThese are the back bone of the hotel conference cair. They are starting to look dated however they are cheep to buy, strong and last and last. The frames are normaly made out of box section steel (which is heavy) or aluminium. A cheep steel chair will cost between £15 and £20 where as a qualty steel chair will cost over £25. Aluminium chairs cost between £25 and £50 each. Samsonite (or McCorts) folding chair.A fantactic performer I've personaly managed to get 80 of these chairs in a Ford Mondao (by removing the back seats.) They will stack up to 50 high (100 on a wheeled palet) The down side is they look a little basic and they will look tatty quite quickly. Resin Bistro chairsThese chairs will stack up to 25 high and are cheep as chips. I've payed as low as £3.50 per chair. You can use them for weddings and parties as well as outside. Great value for money.I could get 1200 in a 7.5T lorry.
